Essential tremor awareness ribbons

Poor old Dave suffers from Benign Essential tremor; he has had it for years now and has learnt to live with it. We have a page on our website with a link to some very helpful information and we were asked to make some sort of Awareness ribbon for it. Once again Dave has made some strange animations, bear in mind that on one visit to a specialist in hospital it was referred to as ET, the wrong thing to say to Dave with his vivid imagination. It is possible that next week we may add some puzzle animations but because new Panda search algorithms have hit us pretty badly we may be spending our spare time optimising the whole site a little better. With 400 pages that is a lot of work.

LOL animations ROFLMAO gifs

A strange page indeed, has Dave gone crazy, no he could not get even crazier, he has made some unusual LOL animations that you can use on your forums and blog pages etc. I had to chuckle this week when a friend of our daughter sent a message from Facebook asking him to be her dad. We have already “adopted” her so I suppose it makes sense. Lets me honest, Dave has never grown up, probably like a lot of men and when I asked our grand daughter who her favourite “boy” was granddad came top of the list. They are partners in crime and I have to keep a careful eye on them. It makes me laugh when both of them sit down to watch “Granddad in my pocket” on children’s television. It just about sums up what my husband is all about and certainly explains some of the strange animations.

Google Panda Update affect images ?

Over the past week we have had a considerable de ranking on Google search. An investigation reveals that Google have updated their algorithms in an attempt to give quality high content websites a better placement and called this new search update "Panda".

Some experts are saying that having many low quality back links will affect you. Other opinions are that having ads on your web pages can affect you as well. Google never give any official explanation of what and how they do these things. It would seem with us that although we have considerable unique content (everything in fact) the Google spider just see our animations and images as just another graphic and that our text content could be increased. If we make an animation and it is used on your blog or website it is nice to get some recognition for our work and a link back to our site is a nice thing to see.

I suspect that the Google Panda update does not see it that way and can only see what it considers to be low quality back links. Let it see it that way, we get visitors from these links when someone sees a good example of our work. Our intention was never to build back links for SEO purpose and we actually have thousands of them.

Dave wants to pull all ads from our site, he never liked them in the first place, but I say wait a little and see what happens, many thousands of good quality websites are in the same position and Google may sort out this problem. We are really not the losers, our website is not a business site and everything is free, the losers are the people that do find us on Google search.

Travel Animations Monarch Aircraft

The jet aircraft is about to land. It’s a Monarch one as well; we use them on a regular basis. Last Easter we got stuck in Cyprus for an extra week because of the volcanic dust and although it was a long uphill struggle Monarch Airlines eventually compensated us for some of the extra expenses we incurred.

Most times we have found the aircrew to be very happy and entertaining although on occasions we have encountered the miserable one, but who can be happy all the time, not Dave, that’s for sure. This jet can be found on our new Travel animations page with a few other things as well.
