While Dave knocks back the Southern Comfort and spends time chatting on the forums I have been updating the website with the updated animations he made. Some are brand new animations but many are an improved version of what we already had. We will not just put any old rubbish on our site just to make the collection bigger but believe in improving a lot of the animations we have already made. Quality and not Quantity is our motto. I have updated the perfume bottle, ipods, the Tardis, Golf, Weather, Lockets, Marry me, Televisions and Big Brother is watching and have generally tidied up a lot more pages as well including adding our photo to the Dot and Dave page. It is a nice way to finish of the year ready for a nice clean start to 2011.

Dave has made some happy animated gifs and was not too keen to do so the miserable old sod. At least I am happy and got the inspiration to urge Dave to make these animations from our “Big Mouth Billy Bass” that Molly our grand daughter loves.The enormous amounts of snow that we have had has allowed the two of us to update and make a few more animations than we normally do but over the next couple of weeks we will not do a lot although the website will still be updated with new animations each week because we have a few already made ready to be uploaded. A rather strange addition has been added to the vegetables, no accounting for Daves strange sense of humour.

This week we have added some cool animations. Probably about right with all the snow we had last week. We were unable to get our car out of our road for 4 days but it was possible to walk up to the village and get some supplies.Dave is due to retire next year and reckons he just might get a four wheel drive mini, something economical but able to cope with the adverse weather conditions we seem to be getting lately. We a Golf GTI at the moment, a great car but not the best for snowy conditions.The picture shows the snow mushrooms in our garden

We have been snowed in this week and with the possibility of power cuts decided to get the candles ready. This gave Dave an idea, he had experimented trying to make candle flames in the software he has but it had not worked that well so he tried taking videos of burning candles, editing them to repeat nicely and then converting into animated gifs. I think that these animated candles work quite well and it also opens the gates for animations that are based on photos rather than constructing in CAD software.
