Pakistan Cricket Scandal animation

Just what is going on in the cricket world and with sport in general.
Many years ago when Dot and Dave were youngsters sport had a healthy attitude and money did not come into the equation as much as it does these days. Professional footballers now take acting lessons on how to fool the ref. I thought rugby and cricket still had a healthy sporty attitude but the latest cricket scandal involving Pakistan makes me wonder.
Daves new animation sums it up

Mary Bale, where are you hiding

Mary Bale Animation

With so much media attention Mary Bale the woman famous for dumping a cat into a wheelie bin and caught doing so on CCTV, has gone into hiding.
We have found her hiding place and have no hesitation in letting the public know where she is.
Lola the cat who spent 15 hours trapped in one of these bins seems none the worse for her ordeal and seems to be enjoying all the media attention she is getting.

Warning Animations, animated gifs

Dave has made the warning animations, men at work or whatever you want to call these animations.
The box shown here is quite funny but the people inside must be double jointed.
While my daughter works I look after our granddaughter Molly. One day this week I left her in the bathroom while I worked downstairs and to my horror water started pouring through the light fitting in the kitchen. She had emptied a lot of water from the bath onto the floor and it had found its way downstairs.
Dave had to drill a hole in the ceiling to drain it all away. Not bad for a four year old

Adsense help animations

This week Dave has added some Adsense animations to the Adsense help page, there are many hundreds of sites giving advice on Adsense so someone may have a use for them. I have suggested that Dave makes some safety “warning” animations like wear your ear protectors or something like that. The look he gave me makes me think that will be a no-go. We will just have to see what appears next week.

Make your own animated butterfly card

This week Dave has made another animation that you can modify.
With a little photo editing and html knowledge you can make a card of your choice with an animated butterfly on it.
Poor old Dave this week he had to buy me a new washing machine and a new television as both had broken beyond repair.
Mind you he has never minded spending money and when I first knew him he was up to his eyeballs in debt, it took a long time , many arguments and a lot of patience for me to convince that it is not a good idea to spend your money as fast as you get it.

BT Broadband review

Dot and Dave are an old couple and tend to be very fixed in their way at times (Thats us)
For years we used the same ISP for our broadband and just recently decided to change to BT.
At the moment things are looking very good and we are well pleased but it has not been an easy migration as Dave's BT broadband review page on our website shows.
Now that I have shown Dave it can pay to shop around maybe I can persuade him to use a different insurance company, petrol garage, recovery service, clothes shop (He lives in jeans and T shirts) and goodness knows what. The list is endless.

I dread the day he retires as well (18 months to go) because although I love the old sod he can be very annoying especially as he is so happy first thing in the mornings.

How to upload animations to Blogger

Image size used 400 x 300

This week Dave has made access to all the swf files on the Flash website available through this updated Google site that we have had for a few years and not used that much. This gives you the option to download the animation and use it on your own server rather than using the links to our Photobucket account. Advice on uploading flash animations here.
He has also created a page giving advice on how to upload animations to Blogger (gifs), you cannot upload animated gifs directly from your computer but have to upload them to a photo hosting website first. Dave uses Picasa and gives advice on this web page.
