Such a lot of our stuff can be modified. Dave has written a page about using one of our clownfish animations and making name tags from it.
If any of you use animation programs modifying out work is very easy and we do not mind you doing it.
If we get any interest in this sort of thing its possible Dave may come up with other animation modifications.
The sun is shining and we are in for a heatwave this weekend so the barbeque will be coming out together with Dave’s tatty shorts and T shirt.
This week we have updated the World cup football animations. Added a few more gifs and removed others. We are not keen football fans and the only football that ever really interested us was when our son was younger and played it.
We used to travel miles to watch him play.
Sometimes we like to participate in some of the forums available; some can be very aggressive with insults flying about everywhere. We give that sort a miss now but one animation forum we have been a member of for years is ABPAG4 It has moved location several times but is still a very nice place to visit.We highly recommend it.
Summer is here, we always notice that we get fewer visitors at this time of year and it makes sense. People are going to be out and about enjoying the sun and not at home sitting on their computers.
Dave has had his little bit of fun this week taking the pee out of me because I always wear flip flops. Problem is that certain people seem to pick up keywords like designer flip flops and we are already getting enquiries as to how much they cost. What will be next on the animation agenda? Could be anything next week, Dave is working on several projects and as some will know he does much of his work at weekends. This weekend he is going to a party at his brothers house in Hastings, when those two get together the drinks flow freely so I have a feeling that very little animation work will be done.
This week Dave made some ipad animations, or we should say animated ipads.We like to try and keep up to date with modern technology and as the ipad has just hit the UK why shouldn’t we make such animations. Remember any of our animations can be used on an ipad.
After some time we got a reply from Monarch about being reimbursed for the extra expenses we had because of an extra weeks stay in Cyprus because of the volcanic ash. We now have to fill out a seven page claim form. We had to pay for extra accommodation and food. We cannot claim for Alcoholic drinks, snacks, ice creams, deserts or any item other than those that could be considered reasonable subsistence. Maybe we should have been on a bread and water diet for that time. Dave considers every item on that list reasonable subsistence when on holiday in Cyprus. If you do not see much in the way of animations next week it will be because we are spending all our time sorting out this form.
