Sorry for no entry last week, we were supposed to have arrived home from Cyprus on Saturday and posted on Sunday but thanks to the volcanic dust we were stranded in Cyprus for another week and only got a flight back to the UK yesterday.We enjoyed the extra week but not the extra expense so it will be interesting to see if Monarch Airlines will reimburse us for the accommodation and food as we only bought a flight. According to EU rules we should get reinbursement for sensible claims. UPDATE ON OUR SITUATION - CLICK HERE
We had one week in Nicosia with our friends Petros, Toulla and Marios and ended up having two weeks in Larnaca in a very modern apartment complex called Troy Legends where we met Kieros and Sharon with sons Zac and Leo. They have now become very good friends and as they intend to build a house in Cyprus we will make a point of visiting them.
Our routine has thrown off course and as Dave is getting old, bless him, it will take a little time for him to settle down again, but with gentle persuasion from myself we may see the Scottish animations next week. We now have a backlog of emails to look at.
